With over 10 years in public accounting, Michael has a wide array of experience working with high net worth individuals, privately held pass-through entities, trusts & estates, and gift taxes. He assists clients with income tax planning and compliance, complex business transactions from merger/acquisitions to generational gift transfers, as well as conflict resolution with state and federal taxing authorities. Michael is a graduate of East Carolina University, and North Carolina native. He is a member of the NC Association of CPA’s. Outside the office Michael enjoys time with his wife and two sons.
Lois has over 25 years of experience in public accounting, and enjoys the challenges of the constantly changing tax laws and working with clients. She founded this company in 2009 with the belief that there is a need for CPA firms that work with individuals and small businesses that are sometimes overlooked by large regional firms. The goal is to provide personalized service focused on each client’s unique situation. Lois is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA). Originally from Pennsylvania, Lois has lived in across North Carolina. Lois has a BA degree from Duquesne University and a MA from Bowling Green State University. She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family including 4 grandchildren.
